If part of your tooth has been lost or if your tooth has been damaged by tooth decay, the dentist can restore it with a filling. A filling is a relatively simple dental treatment. This prevents further pain and restores the function of your tooth.
Therapy
Before the dentist starts filling a cavity, he will discuss the treatment with you. He will then ask you if you want an anesthetic. If you choose this, we will first let the anesthetic take effect for a few minutes. The dentist then cleans the tooth. Once the tooth has been cleaned and dried, it can be filled.
Filling materials
We use tooth-colored composite. Composite offers more options than filling molars. In this way, front teeth can be rebuilt after a fracture and discolouration of teeth and molars can be repaired. Especially on the front teeth, a white filling is more aesthetically attractive.

The costs for the filling are fixed government rates which we will discuss with you in advance by means of a budget. You can pay this bill at the reception after the treatment. You will receive the invoice and you can submit it to your health insurance. If you have additional insurance, (part of) the costs will be reimbursed by your health insurer.
